This is my 3DS XL !
As the release date draws closer I’m going to start revealing more about myself and what I plan for New Leaf. And to start it all off I’ll show you lovely ladies and gents exactly which system I use.
I once had the blue 3DS, although I never switched to the XL because I was not too fond of the whole black screen on top. Nor was I too happy with it on my blue 3DS. Until they released this beauty! It was too precious to not to switch to and with help from a little promotion from Gamestop (As in my 3DS sold for more when I traded it in) I was able to get this beaut. The only other 3DS XL I’d be willing to trade it for would be the mint one that was released in Japan.. still crossing my fingers for it.
Anyway, some details about it. It’s protected in the clear case to prevent scratches and tucked beneath the case is the sticker. It’s not actually stuck on the 3DS since I don’t want to make it permanent or ruin it. The sticker is SANDy from Tokidoki’s Cactus Friends. I love Tokidoki stuff and found the sticker at a local anime store. Although in the future it might be swapped for Sabochan instead if I can get my hands on the sticker, I favor her over SANDy. Or Ciao-Ciao. I believe the pink color of those characters is more suited.
Attached to the pink lanyard is a Tamagotchi charm I received years ago with a Tamagotchi lanyard for my Tamagotchi. (How many times can I say Tamagotchi in one sentence?) The character is called Violetchi. Another accessory is the Rilakuma (Which I adore!!) touch pen I use for a stylus. On top is Korilakkuma. I favor the touch pen due to it’s soft rubber like point. Since’s it’s not hard or plastic it has no chance of scratching my touch screen.

So, today I was talking about how I’m so excited about Animal Crossing and how my dad and I were going to make a special trip to town on the 9th just so I could get the game.
My sister asked, “Animal Crossing? What kind of a game is that?” So I proceeded to take her to the offical Animal Crossing New Leaf website and showed her. Needless to say, she was very interested! She said it looks like it would be her kind of game and that she wished she could play it on the computer and didn’t need a special gaming system to play it.
So, I lent her my DSi and Wild World so she could “Try it out” to see if she’d really like it. It would be awesome if she did! Who knows! I might lend her my other 3DS XL and either the SD card or the cartridge to play New Leaf! We’ll see though XD
Oh my that’s really awesome! I’ve always enjoyed playing games with my siblings. My little brothers kind of idolize me for how good I am at them aha.
My dad had the Gamecube first, before I bought it from him later, and when he bought Animal Crossing: Population Growing the whole family used to watch!
My younger sister, now 17, and my little brother, 13, both played Wild World with me. In fact, the villagers in my game ask me about Anna all the time. Since we wifi’d over Christmas break.
I hope she learns to enjoy it otherwise!
